MFC Ext

Our church building is available for hire, subject to suitability and availability, for either one-off events or regular sessions. The two main rooms are extremely versatile lending themselves to a variety of layouts, including theatre, boardroom or classroom styles. You can hire the whole building or the rooms separately.


COVID-19 Update: We have installed risk reduction measures which will be explained further by our Administrator, Kellie. However, it is your responsibility to ensure these are adhered to and any others you may consider necessary for your event.


WiFi is available throughout the building. The facilities have been risk assessed and are regularly reviewed. Fire extinguishers are regularly serviced and located by the main exit points.

On site parking is possible with spaces for approximately seven vehicles. Depending on when you wish to hire the venue, street parking is also possible but please check the timing of restrictions.

If you would like to make a booking for any of our rooms and equipment, please contact the church office or fill in the form below. We will get back to you to discuss the booking details, and to confirm availability. We highly recommend arranging a visit to manage your expectations and finalise requirements. Pricing includes heating and lighting as appropriate. We expect you to leave the facilities in a tidy and clean condition, as you can expect to find them. There is no VAT.

Main Hall

  • Versatile room for approximately 100 people seated theatre style.

  • Male and female toilets available in the foyer.
  • Use of kitchen included. Details below.
  • PA system, including cabled and wireless microphones, and media projector available for additional fee of £50.00.
  • £11.00 per hour
 

Lounge

  • Versatile room includes two sofas with two coffee tables and dining/study tables (2 rectangle and 4 square).
  • Various layouts possible, e.g. boardroom, classroom, banquet (rectangular tables) and U-shape.
  • Accommodates approximately 40 seated in theatre layout.
  • Two toilets immediately adjacent.
  • Use of kitchen included. Details below.
  • Multi-media projector and surround sound system available for additional fee of £50.00.
  • £8.00 per hour

Whole Building

  • Use of main hall, lounge and kitchen, as described above.
  • Main hall PA system, including cabled and wireless microphones, and media projector also media projector and surround sound system in the lounge available for additional fee of £75.00.
  • £16.00 per hour

Kitchen

  • Fully equipped kitchen with dual fuel range cooker and refrigerator.
  • Gas heated on-demand hot water.
  • Crockery and cutlery for approximately 60 people.
  • Five gas ring hob including an assortment of saucepans, casseroles and utensils.
  • Double electric ovens, including grill pans and baking trays.
  • Microwave oven, kettles and toaster.
  • 27ltr (6 gal) electrically heated tea urn.
  • Serving hatch with counter and steel roller shutter.
  • First Aid kit, fire blanket and extinguishers provided.
